Take Home Truth: One day soon Jesus will come and exterminate the world of sin once and for all, and we will no longer wrestle with these bodies of sin.  Live this day, in light of that day!

"Living in View of God’s Mercies "                                                                

Take Home Truth: As the body of Christ, in view of God’s mercies, let’s offer ourselves to God and one another for the good of the church, and the glory of God.

POINTS:

1. Offer Yourself to God (12:1-2)

• Give Your Body to God (v.1)
• Give Your Mind to God (v.2)

 

2. Offer Yourself to the Church (12:3-16)

• Think Rightly About Yourself (v.3)
• Use Your Spiritual Gifts (vv. 4-8)
• Allow the Gospel to Shape Your Relationships and Ethics (vv.9-16)

Take Home Truth:  True Hope is found not in our circumstances, but in knowing Jesus as our Savior and our God.  A healthy relationship with Him won't keep us from having troubles, but it can keep us from despair.

2. is in identifying the cause

3.  is in being honest with God

4. is in confirming your faith in God
